Jen Tennill- Principal Designer
Jen is a professionally trained artist and the creative force behind Frisco-based Interior design firm Jen Tennill Interiors, LLC. She has been active in the DFW design community since 2001 when she returned to the area after living as an expat in Stockholm, Sweden. She brings nearly 20 years of experience to both her fine art and interiors consulting and draws heavily on her travels abroad for her inspiration. Her award-winning work has been shown in publications both nationally and internationally and her fine art can be found in private collections throughout the United States. She is a construction junkie and is as equally comfortable renovating an outdated space as she is choosing the pretty stuff to finish it out.
Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband Clint, chauffeuring her two children to far too many extracurricular activities, and hiking and camping in the National Parks (when she needs to turn off her cell phone and get away from people for a bit.) She also finds time to give back to her community through her work with several local non-profit organizations and the National Charity League.
Terri Baker- Design Assistant
Terri joined Jen Tennill Interiors in early 2018 and quickly became an indispensable part of the team. Terri’s strengths are attention to detail, an eye for quality on a budget, and an innate sense of color and proportion. From contemporary to traditional styles, she can execute designs quickly and efficiently, however, she excels most at reading Jen’s mind and helping her to manage projects through to completion.
When she’s not making spaces beautiful, Terri is also an accomplished baker and cake decorator, can craft anything and wields power tools like a pro. She has also raised 4 fantastic boys and lived to tell the tale.
Jenny Rossel- Studio Manager
Jenny joined Jen Tennill Interiors in 2017 as an assistant but it shortly became obvious that she was destined to run the place. She is responsible for managing all purchasing, receipts, invoicing, vendor accounts and generally keeping Jen Tennill Interiors organized on paper. In Jenny’s previous life she worked as an executive recruiter and her skills for organization, multitasking and making sense out of Jen’s receipts are unparalleled.
When Jenny is not keeping JTI running she spends time with her husband Jeremy and two busy kids, volunteers on TWO school PTAs and serves as the team mom for… you guessed it…TWO different cheer teams! Her burning desires are to find some peace and quiet and to get to bed at a reasonable hour.
